If I say April in Milan I think about at spring, lot of people on the street and design exibition everywhere… all of this meaning “ Salone del Mobile.Milano”
ミラノの春は？と聞かれて真っ先に頭に思い浮かぶことは、ミラノの様々な場所で行われるデザインのエキシビジョン、そして道の外にまで溢れかえる沢山の人々・・・そう、ミラノ家具見本市「サローネ・デル・モービレ・ミラノ」です！

Because in this month, Milan is the center of world design and all the most famous factory and the most famous designer come here to show the new work, talk about design, product and of course ecological sustainability.
毎年4月、有名な家具メーカーやデザイナーの新しい作品がお披露目されるこのサローネ。デザインやプロダクトの話はもちろん、近年キーワードとなっているエコフレンドリーに取り組む姿勢や体感型のインスタレーションも話題となり、ミラノは世界中から注目されます。

I like so much the design and the Salone is an really good opportunity for me to see up close a lot of of furniture, lighting and other home furnishings.
ミラノに住んでいる僕もこのサローネは毎年心待ちにしている行事です。家具や照明といった多くのプロダクトを間近で見る絶好のチャンスなのですから。

The Milano’s Salone del mobile born in the 1961 and was only an forniture exibition event in Milano Fiera, famous name like B&B, Cassina, Artemide show design’s masterpiece here.
このサローネ、1961年から始まり今年で58回目を迎えます。ミラノ見本市会場で行われる家具の見本市としてB&BやCassinaやArtemideといった有名家具や照明、キッチンメーカーが出展し、数々の代表作を発表しました。

Every years come bigger and the Design Week come on Milano’s streets. The most important thing is this event has become for all the people of Milan and of course for people that come from around the world.
そして回を重ねる毎にどんどん規模が大きくなり、見本市会場だけでは収まらず、ミラノ市内のいたるところでエキシビジョンが行われる現在のデザインウィークの形、「フォーリ・サローネ」へと発展しました。これによって子供や普段デザインに関わらない一般の人まで、ミラノにいるすべての人がこの期間デザインの世界に触れることができるようになったのです。
